1 Who We Are & Scope

This policy covers BigBreakingWire Prime — the subscription research terminal at prime.bigbreakingwire.in — operated by BigBreakingWire, an MSME-registered digital financial news platform. It applies to the Prime website, member accounts, checkout and membership flows, email communications, push notifications and the companion mobile experience.

2 Data We Collect

• Account data — your name, email address and Indian mobile number, provided at registration and checkout.
• Login & security data — credentials (stored hashed), login history and application-password tokens used by the mobile app.
• Membership & order records — your plan (Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly), activation and expiry timestamps, order IDs and PayU transaction references.
• Payment metadata — amount, currency (INR), transaction status and timestamps. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on PayU's secure checkout pages and are processed by PayU; we do not store your card numbers, UPI PINs or bank credentials. Only payments verified server-side with PayU are treated as successful.
• Product usage — watchlists, saved articles, chart preferences, drawings, alerts, screener presets, demo-trading portfolios and chatbot queries, so your workspace persists across sessions.
• Notifications — push-subscription tokens (via OneSignal / browser push) and Telegram linkage, only if you enable them.
• Technical data — device and browser type, approximate location from IP, cookies, and server logs used for security and debugging.
• Support correspondence — emails you send us, including any transaction IDs or screenshots you share.

3 How We Use Your Data

• Creating and securing your account, and keeping you signed in.
• Activating, renewing and supporting your membership (including stacking renewals and the welcome email).
• Processing payments securely through PayU and reconciling orders.
• Operating terminal features — saved workspaces, alerts, newsletters, demo portfolios and Telegram channel access for active members.
• Preventing fraud and abuse, debugging errors, and improving the product.
• Sending transactional emails (welcome, expiry and payment updates). We do not sell your personal data.

4 Sharing & Third Parties

• PayU — payment processing and verification (subject to PayU's own privacy terms).
• OneSignal / browser push services — only to deliver notifications you opted into.
• Telegram — only to grant subscriber-channel access when you link your account.
• Legal & safety — where required by Indian law, court order or to protect our rights and users.

5 Retention

Account and membership records are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for billing disputes, tax records and fraud prevention. Push tokens and linked Telegram data are removed when you disable them. Server logs rotate on a rolling basis. Support emails are retained as needed to resolve your query.

6 Security

We use HTTPS encryption in transit, hashed credentials, server-side payment verification (a payment counts only after PayU confirms it), capability-gated admin tooling and least-privilege database access. No internet transmission or storage system is 100% secure, so please keep your password and devices safe and tell us immediately at support@prime.bigbreakingwire.in / contact.bigbreakingwire@gmail.com if you suspect misuse.

7 Your Rights & Choices

• Access & correction — review and update your profile from your account, or email us for a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Notifications off — disable push from your browser/app settings or unlink Telegram at any time.
• Marketing emails — the weekly digest can be unsubscribed; transactional emails (receipts, expiry notices) continue while you hold a membership.
• Deletion — request account and associated personal-data deletion at support@prime.bigbreakingwire.in / contact.bigbreakingwire@gmail.com. Records we must keep by law (e.g. payment records) are retained in minimal form.

8 Cookies

Prime uses strictly-necessary cookies and storage for sign-in sessions, market/exchange preferences, UI state (such as sidebar and chart settings) and security tokens. Blocking them may break login and terminal features. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on the terminal.

9 Children & Changes

Prime is a paid service for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. If we materially change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a revised date; continued use of Prime after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
